The Importance of Attendance

Get the most out of your membership with our App! All daily registrations open at 12:01 am and close at 1:00 pm. Late Registrations are not accepted.

Attendance is important in martial arts for several reasons, including:
  1. Consistency: Regular attendance helps ensure that a student is making consistent progress in their training, which is important for mastering techniques and developing skills.

  2. Skill development: Attending classes on a regular basis provides students with the opportunity to practice and refine their skills, which is key to improving and advancing.

  3. Building relationships: Attending martial arts classes helps students build relationships with their classmates and instructors, which can create a sense of community and belonging.

  4. Staying motivated: Regular attendance can help students stay motivated and engaged in their training, as they are able to see their progress and receive feedback from their instructors.

  5. Group dynamic: Martial arts classes rely on a group dynamic to create a supportive and encouraging environment. Consistent attendance helps build this dynamic and maintain the positive energy in the class.

  6. Safety: Martial arts techniques can be dangerous if performed improperly. Regular attendance helps ensure that students are learning and practicing proper techniques, which helps reduce the risk of injury.

  7. Respect for the Art: Martial arts are a form of cultural heritage and practice. Regular attendance shows respect for the art and the community. Please be on time (at least 5 to 10 minutes early).

Note: If a student has not registered for class and decides to show up, that class will not be counted towards rank progression.
